Looking for a summer you’ll never forget?
Mix passion with purpose at The Yard, and apply to be a 2020 YARD ARTS Summer Intern! We are currently seeking creatively-minded and artistically-driven candidates for our 2020 Summer Season.
The Yard is a non-profit contemporary artist residency and performing arts center on Martha’s Vineyard, in Chilmark, MA. Each intern position is focused in a specific area of The Yard’s work: arts administration, marketing, media, and technical production. All interns have artistic opportunities, as well as involvement in our community engagement and education programs. The interns play an integral role in the YARD ARTS Summer Season, assisting with many facets of daily operations.
As a YARD ARTS Summer Intern you will…
· Work with an experienced team of art enthusiasts
· Share a campus with over 150 rotating professional artists
· Take daily community dance classes
· Receive a stipend with travel costs included to and from the island
· Receive beach passes to some of the most beautiful beaches on Martha’s Vineyard
· And much more!
The internship runs from Monday, May 18, 2020 through Sunday, September, 7, 2020. The application deadline is February 1, 2020; applications are reviewed as they are received.
