Scholarship applications for returning Theatre students are now open. These are due March 25th at 11:00pm.
A note for returning students who previously received a scholarship:
K-State Theatre scholarships awarded for the ’21-22 school year will NOT BE automatically renewed for returning students for ‘22-’23. You will need to reapply and consider the following requirements:
a.) retain the necessary GPA (cumulative GPA minimum 2.5, Theatre GPA minimum 3.0).

Calculate GPA How to Calculate Your Semester GPA. Assign your semester grades numerical values: A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1 F=0 If you earn an A in ENGL 463 and C in BIOL 198, ENGL 463 gets 4 points and BIOL 198 gets 2 points.; Now multiply that number times the number of credit hours assigned to the course.

b.) fulfill duties stipulated by the scholarship,
c.) remain active in Theatre and
d.) continue as a Theatre or Theatre education major.
Please note that the application requires:
- a statement of interest (participation in Theatre–especially K-State–and career goals) and
- a statement of financial need. There is also a space to include any other pertinent information faculty should know.
