“We are a youth music and theater organization located in the Kansas City metropolitan area for kids ages 5 to 18, and are now accepting applications for summer interns for our musical theater camps. We stage three full musicals each summer with more than 240 kids participating across all three camps. Each show has 6 performances presented in a 460 seat theater at Avila University. This summer, we are doing The Lion King, Jr. for our elementary camp, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr. for our middle school camp and Grease for our high school camp. Our college internships are paid positions, and offer the opportunity to fully participate in the creative process of each show. We are also happy to work with faculty to provide whatever documentation is necessary for class credit, if available/desired. Our company’s focus is on arts education, for both our campers and our summer interns.”
