Feel free to showcase your skills live or, if your internet may be a bit wonky, record a video to screen-share from a stronger connection and watch it together!  If you don’t want to sign up, you can always join the audience and cheer on friends!

Come in costume and with some Halloween decor, or not, come with a spooky act, or not, just come have fun with your peers while we show off what we’ve been working on!

Woah, WoAH, WOAH!  Hold your horses.
What exactly is “Showcase” ???
I’m glad you asked. . .
Showcase is a KSTO tradition and an amazing opportunity to show off whatever you may be working on, and to spend time with like-minded people doing what we love most!

It’s a bit like a talent show in the way that people can show and share whatever they want!  From monologues, poetry, and Dad Jokes, to puppet shows, sharing wild stories, or playing the guitar and singing a song you wrote.  There are no limits to what you can share!

However, unlike a talent show, there is no judging WHATSOEVER. Only encouragement and TONS of support from fellow students!

Showcase will be followed by Midnight Madness – submit a short script to Emma Price at emprice@ksu.edu and it will be performed by random actors drawn at the time of reading! (Midnight Madness is anonymous – nobody will know you wrote it!)

Midnight Madness is where students write or find short scripts and people are randomly selected (if wanting to participate) to do a blind read/creative performance on the spot!

If you have any questions about Showcase or Midnight Madness, feel free to send me, Emma Price, and email at emprice@ksu.edu
