A loose coalition of folks interested in organising for social justice in Manhattan are holding the following event at 7pm this Friday, 2 December at the Fellow (off campus).

The night is focused around small-group dialogues, designed to (i) establish an organizing community, (ii) identify concrete goals for the group, and (iii) develop strategies for ensuring that Manhattan is a community where everyone feels safe and can present their authentic selves in public without shame or indignity. It’s obviously important that any action or organizing be driven by the voices of those who have been put at greatest risk by the election, and so the event on Friday would be a good opportunity to direct the course of the conversation.
