Sign up for the UPC Lip Sync Battle! (March 10th @ 7pm)

The UPC Music Committee is hosting a Lip Sync Battle at 7pm, Wednesday, March 10!

 
When? 7 PM, Wednesday, March 10
Where? Performers will be housed in a central room in the K-State Student Union. Information will be emailed upon successful sign-up.
Why? To show off your skills and win prizes!
 
They are looking for groups or individual performers to volunteer as headliners for this show to perform for a live virtual audience. They are looking for up to 15 acts/numbers that the audience will vote on for gift card prizes. Acts will take turns performing and viewers at home will enjoy from the comfort of their couch.
 
If you are interested in performing, here is a little bit more detail on how to sign up, and a few rules and regulations that need to be followed due to COVID-19.

First Place – $40 Target Gift Card
Second Place – $30 Amazon Gift Card
Third Place – $15 Radina’s Gift Card

Lip Sync Battle Rules
  1. Registration is open to the first 15 teams that complete the registration form. Completed forms must be submitted via Qualtrics by March 3rd at 5pm.   (Sign-up is still open!!!)

  1. Teams can range in size from 1 to 5 people. Eligible team members include current K-State students, faculty, and administration.  

  1. All team members must be included on the registration form and must be wearing a mask until the start of performance. UPC staff will be checking ID’s at the entrance to enforce this.  

  1. Participants can only be on one team or individual entry. 

  1. Music choice can be requested on Qualtrics document during sign up, after the music is requested a UPC member will check for approval. Music must be the clean version; no explicit versions will be accepted. Music will have to be approved by Union Program Council before performing. Teams will be notified by Mon. March 8th whether they have been approved. 

  1. Teams may use props; these props must be included on the registration form to be approved by Union Program Council. Props not included on registration form cannot be used in the performance. Microphones will be provided.  

  1. The maximum time limit is six minutes per performance. This time will include set-up and breakdown. 

  1. As an act in the Lip Sync Battle you agree to allow UPC to use any likeness, videos, or photos of you during your act.
