Hi Everyone!!
It’s that time again, time for SHOWCASE! Our first showcase will take place in the Purple Masque at 10:30 p.m. on September 14th! For those of you who aren’t familiar with showcase, this is a time for you to perform a piece of your choice or practice something you’ve been working on in class, etc. This can include but is not limited to a song, dance, scene, monologue, slam poem, stand-up comedy, duet/trio, etc. This is a safe time and place to perform so don’t feel like everything has to be perfect! We just want to see your beautiful faces and support you in your endeavors. That being said, PLEASE limit your pieces to 3 ish minutes each because while I love you all very much, we do not want to be leaving the Masque at 1 am (that’s technically not allowed anyway).
After showcase we will have Midnight Madness, so writers bring any script/scene you’ve been working on/ want to see performed at showcase (as well as enough copies for each actor). We will draw actor names to perform your anonymous scripts. If you would like to perform in Showcase, please comment below by Tuesday night with your name and what you will be performing, I’ll take the first 10 entries or so.
