Seattle Children’s Theatre Internships

Summer Internships at Seattle Children’s Theatre

At Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT), we are proud to be one of the most prominent theatres for young audiences in the United States and the world. Our mission is to provide children of all ages and backgrounds access to professional theatre, with a focus on new works, and theatre education. For many children, we are the first, and sometimes, sole, exposure they have to live theatre.

Intern with Us!

Renowned SCT Education Programs offers over 20 internship positions in the summer to support nearly 200 camps and classes for students ages 3½ -21, and for our Summer Season productions for students grades 4-12.

Being an intern is a rewarding and enriching experience wherein you’ll be fully immersed in the workings of SCT. Previous interns have gone on to work at many professional theatres around the country, including as staff members at SCT, Seattle Theatre Group, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Jet City Improv, and The Village Theatre, as well as regionally at theatres such as Arena Stage, Lexington Children’s Theatre, Stages Theatre Company, Metro Theatre Company, The Rose Theatre Omaha, and the Children’s Theatre Company, amongst many others.
