Stage Management Internship – Florida Studio Theatre, a LORT D regional theatre in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Stage Management intern. Duties include assisting AEA stage manager with rehearsal room tasks such as preparing the rehearsal room, tracking blocking, being on book and line notes and preparing production paper working. Other duties include show running (which includes doing laundry, ironing, steaming, and repairs), track and maintain props and costumes during rehearsals and performance, lead any production assistants (crew) working backstage on the performance, assist with all load-ins and strikes, and stage manage non-Equity shows, educational recitals, and special events and perform other duties as assigned. All internships provide free, furnished housing and a stipend.
