Join K-State Theatre this summer as we seek 2-4 motivated and enthusiastic interns to assist with our Shakespeare Summer Camps. Led by David Mackay, these camps will run from June 17-21 and June 24-28, providing a fantastic opportunity to work alongside David and approximately 10-15 high school students for each camp. Together, we’ll delve into A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and MACBETH, crafting a unique redux production.
 
Responsibilities:
Support David Mackay in directing and organizing the Shakespeare Camp
Aid students in understanding and preparing for the plays
Assist with logistics and provide support to students throughout the week-long camp
Engage in extracurricular activities and study sessions
 
Requirements:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Passion for Shakespeare and theater (no prior Shakespeare knowledge required)
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Comfortable working with teenagers
