Join in with KSTO & students all around our region TONIGHT (1/22) at 9:30-11:00pm for one of the final events of 2021 KCACTF, The 4th Annual Region 5 Drag & Neo-Burlesque Ball!
”Drag” refers to the performance of masculinity, femininity or other forms of gender expression. “Neo-Burlesque” focuses on dancing, costumes, and entertainment (which may include comedy and singing) and deliberately avoids full nudity. Both have empowerment, storytelling, and audience connection as the heart of the art. This fabulous event will be hosted by Sally B. Ridin’ (aka Casey Paradise) with a special encore performance by Bea Boisterous (aka Rachel Ridinger).
For the event, students will be able to follow a link/zoom code attached below to join the audience. (Feel free to invite a friend to join in on the fun too!) If possible we can share the screen or just share the moment as we watch on our own devices. Either way, we should be in store for a grand evening!
