Summer Internship Opportunities
Dear friends old and new,
I am reaching out on behalf of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. We have just recently posted on our website a number of internship opportunities. I wanted to personally extend an invite to your students to apply to two of our back of house opportunities. I’ve attached both job descriptions, which lay out our Production Services and Production Management Internships. The Production Services internship is more hands-on, working with lights, audio, and carpentry as well as working alongside our Production Service Supervisors to help plan and run events in our multi-venue facility. The Production Management internship will focus more on contracts, scheduling, hospitality, and event planning. They too will have hands-on experience working events.
I encourage you to pass these descriptions onto students who may benefit from such an opportunity. Where applicable, we’re happy to work with students and your department to help them earn course credit. I appreciate your assistance in helping us spread the word.
