I’m writing to you from the Sitka Performing Arts Center in Sitka, AK. We are a state-of-the-art, 600-seat theater that features world class performances across many artistic disciplines, in addition to innovative community shows.
This spring, we will be offering a Technical Production internship position through our managing entity, Alaska Arts Southeast. Participants have the potential to work for a variety of clients on all aspects of show design and execution, including lighting, audio, and sets, with a focus on developing and honing the skills necessary for a career in technical theater and live event production. The internship offers a stipend, housing and transportation to and from Sitka via air.
