Fri. Last Day to Drop a Course

By October 26, 2016News

Dear Students,

The last day to drop (actually, withdraw from) a course is Friday. You will receive a ‘W’ on your transcript. This simply means you withdrew from the class. There is no refund. How does this impact you? See below.

Protocol for dropping the class for a ‘W’: Contact your instructor and simply notify them that you have dropped the course. Be kind and courteous.

To drop the class, you go to KSIS, then Student Center. Under the Enroll tab there will be an option to ‘Drop’. Please click it. Mark the class to be dropped and continue. Once you have taken the steps, double check your schedule to make sure it is no longer present as a class for you.

What are the ramifications? You will receive a ‘W’ for the class, which just means you withdrew from the course.

BEWARE, by dropping/withdrawing from the course, you could drop to below 12 hrs. which means you are no longer full time, which may impact your funding or financial aid, depending upon your plan. If you have questions, please contact SHANNON at sbskelton@ksu.edu.
