FREE KCREP Tickets/Trip!

By April 24, 2023News

Students and faculty,

Don’t miss out on our final field trip this academic year!  We had almost 100 attend the Kansas City Symphony, and this final field trip will be to the Kansas City Repertory Theatre to see the NEW (not the traditional) Peter Pan and Wendy: Neverland for a New Generation adapted by Lauren Gunderson (NOTE FROM SHANNON – THIS IS THE AUTHOR OF EXIT, PURSUED BY A BEAR WHICH WE ARE PRODUCING NEXT YEAR). The performance will be a matinee at 10a on Tuesday, May 16 and will provide an opportunity for students to meet with some of the artists afterward.  This play is a magical adaptation on the famous tale that reinterprets its lead characters to make them relevant, empowering, and thought-provoking to a modern audience.
