Can you believe it? We are gearing up for advising sessions in preparation for Spring 2019. Next week, I will send out a calendar to all advisees to schedule advising sessions to plan Spring 2019 schedules. Before we set up meetings, there are a few things that are required of you . . . . but I’ll get into that next week.
For now, please (1) access your DARS through your Student Center. Review your DARS. I know it is a difficult document, but you must review to see what classes you need. (2) Please look over classes and determine what classes are being offered. You can access the schedule of classes here: https://courses.k-state.edu/spring2019/schedule.html.
BEFORE you are able to enroll, you must (1) meet with your advisor (that can be Theatre Advisor Shannon or School of MTD Advisor Sharyn Worcester at ses8555@ksu.edu) and (2) have an acceptable classes placed in your shopping cart.
I WILL NOT APPROVE SCHEDULES THAT SIMPLY HAVE THEATRE – of ‘fun’ – COURSES.
YOU MUST CAREFULLY BALANCE GEN EDs (Science, Social Science, Language, Math, etc.) WITH MAJOR COURSES!
I will arrange for a group advising Q&A regarding the process. So, please be on the lookout.
If you are a 2nd, 3rd or 4th (or beyond) student who is experienced regarding this process, and simply need approval, please go ahead an set an appointment with me via https://shannonblakeskelton.acuityscheduling.com/or set one with Sharyn.
