K-State’s Ebony Theatre will host a mixer event along with a reading of this year’s Yale Drama Award winning play, APOLOGIES TO YOU LORRAINE HANSBERRY (YOU TOO AUGUST WILSON). The event is September 27th at 6pm in the Morris Family Multicultural Center. All in attendance will be invited to read and will be considered for casting in the stage reading of the piece in October. For the October script-in-hand reading, rehearsals will begin October 14 with performances on October 21 and 22 in the Purple Masque Theatre in West Memorial Stadium. It will be directed by guest artist, Damron Armstrong who is the Producing Artistic Director of The Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City.
