Important info about measurements and fittings:
  • Wear proper clothing.
    • Those playing female presenting characters must wear a real bra if applicable (no sports bras/ binders).
    • WEAR UNDERWEAR (we will not measure or fit you if you are not wearing proper undergarments)
    • No dresses or oversize clothes for measurements.
  • Concealed carry is not possible for measurements or fittings.
    • No weapons are allowed to be left in bags, as you will be separated from them.
  • No heavy cologne or perfume
  • After you schedule your appointment, it is very important that you honor your appointment or communicate with the shop (785-532-6429 or costume@ksu.edu) in a timely manner to reschedule.
  • Even if you have been measured for a show before, you must come in again to be checked.
  • I will take your photo as a reference for the designer.
  • During your measurement appointment, it is important to let us know if there is anything we need to consider when creating your costume. Religious needs, medical accommodations, fabric or detergent allergies, etc.
  • Measurements will take only a few minutes.
But how do I get there??
The Costume Shop is located on the first floor of McCain, room 112.  It is down the hall across from the main MTD office. It will look like you are going to the men’s bathroom. Go through that door and keep going down the hall and through the door at the end. The shop is the last door at the end of the hall.
