Broadway Stage Management Symposium 2019

The Broadway Stage Management Symposium

Over the last four years, this program has brought together hundreds of stage managers from across the country and around the world. Symposium alumni have become production assistants on Broadway, joined Actors Equity Association and our first alum became a Broadway Stage Manager herself last year.

In the words of one alum, “I cannot say how amazing this was!!! This past year was my first time attending and it was so worth it! I loved all of the information that I learned and it has helped me so much in my first year out in the professional world.”

The 5th annual Symposium is set for June 1st and 2nd, 2019 at the historic New Victory Theater and we want to help you have the opportunity to attend, learn from Broadway’s best, and grow your professional network. Attendees can join us in NYC or via the Online Webinar from anywhere. Both options come with an online replay, so all sessions can be re-watched for the entire month following the Symposium.

Individuals can register on the website: www.broadwaysymposium.com to attend in NYC or via the Webinar. Payment plans are available. In addition, as students, you can use the promo code STUDENT2019 for 5% off.

The Symposium creates a place where the stage management community can come together with the professionals working at the highest levels and share knowledge, wisdom, and insights about our art and craft. Past topics have included: Emotional Intelligence, Servant Leadership, Harassment, Team Dynamics, Diversity, Motherhood, Tao of Stage Managing, Development Process, Safety, Technology, Unions and more. Each year the topics and speakers change, so the program is always fresh and topical.

Please contact us at info@broadwaysymposium.com for more information on any of the above. We are always happy to talk about stage management education and how the Symposium can be of service to you. Attached is our flyer.

We wish you all the best and look forward to speaking and sharing with you.

Sincerely,
Matt Stern
