The Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies Advisory Board is hosting a panel discussion, “Being Fearless: Success in Life,” with K-State Olympians on Thursday, November 3 from 5:30-7:30 pm in Leadership Studies Town Hall.
Panelists include
- Eric Kynard–silver medalist in high jump, 2012
- Thane Baker–gold, silver, and bronze medalist in 4×100, 100, 200; 1952 and 1956
- Ed Broxterman–high jump, 1996
- Akela Jones–heptathlon, 2016
- Shadae Lawrence–discus, 2016
- Austra Skyujte–silver medalist in heptathlon, 2004
The panel will be moderated by former Kstate track and field athletes Gwen Wentland-Mikinski and Jill Montgomery (ESPN color commentator).
