General Info:

Please read the play there is very mature content and potentially very triggering scenes. If the scenes bother you or you feel that you could not handle them please take that into account before auditioning.

This show also has a fair amount of French spoken during some of the scenes due to the setting which is France. If you know French or at least some, make that known on your audition sheet.

Belleville will be a staged reading therefore it will be less of a commitment. Lines don’t have to be memorized and the entire rehearsal and production time period will be September 2nd through September 15th.

Characters:

ABBY: American, white, twenty-eight.

ZACK: American, white, twenty-eight.

ALIOUNE: Senegalese-French, twenty-five

AMINA: Senegalese-French, twenty-five

(will also be casting someone to read stage directions)
