For 36 years the Walnut’s Apprentice Program has provided training to young theatre professionals. The Walnut produces 5 Main Stage and 5 Studio productions in 1,078 and 80 seat theatres with nearly 50,000 season subscribers. Apprentices are an important and vital part of the operation of our theatre. The program is a full-time commitment with a weekly scholarship of $350 and free tuition to Theatre School classes.
The terms of scholarships vary but may begin as early as July 2020 and end by June 2021.
Acting Apprenticeship auditions will be Saturday May 2, 2020. Those who are selected will be invited to audition. If invited, audition is mandatory.
