Hey-o party people!
Great scott! The time has come yet again for the 24 Hour Play Festival. It will be held Friday and Saturday, March 30th and 31st and there will be splendid fun to be had by all.
On Friday, March 30th, a company of up to 5 directors, 5 playwrights, and 20-25 actors will get together to create masterpieces of the theatrical arts. Over the next 24 hours, new works will be written, directed and performed for an audience in Chapman Theatre. Outside of these two days, no commitment is asked of any of the participants; everything will be prepared within the 24 hour window. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice preparing art in a short amount of time.
To do this though, we need people! You may be thinking, “You talkin’ to me?” and to that I reply, “Of course I am!” This is open to anybody, so if you feel so inclined, sign up to be a playwright, a director, OR an actor in the comments below by giving your name and what you would like to do (example: Gil Faizon- actor). It is first come, first serve, so sign up soon to secure a spot in the process!
Also, 24 Hour Play Festival is a charity event, so if you can, bring a dollar or two that would be greatly appreciated.
