K-State Theatre is collaborating with the Beach Museum of Art to bring Los Angeles based performance artist/storyteller Dan Kwong to campus as part of the exhibition, SILK ROAD THROUGH KANSAS.
Dan is offering a a two-night performance workshop, Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 7-10pm and Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 7-10pm in the Purple Masque Theatre. This participatory workshop is open to ALL students across campus, but it will be of particular interest to MTD students, limit 16.
In this workshop you will learn how to develop and use personal stories to create theatrical performance. You will experience physical, vocal, conceptual and emotional exercises designed to evoke stories and memories.

His residency at K-State is co-hosted by the K-State Theatre Program and the Beach Museum of Art.
**Dan would love to have workshop participants attend his performance on Friday, but it is not required. If you are participating in Winter Dance, you are not available for this event.**
