Can you believe we have 3 weeks until K-State Theatre is in full swing again!? We hope you have had a successful and restful summer so far! Classes begin on Monday, August 22!
We have been getting Nichols Hall ready for you. We had a big move during the summer- the 301 design/tech classroom has been moved to Nichols 122 and we gained a new lecture classroom for theatre history and script analysis- Nichols 127. The offices for Theatre faculty have been moved from the second floor to the first floor- many behind Chapman Theatre. We hope it will be easier for you to connect with faculty and to build a stronger community.
The work in Nichols continues as I write this. You may find yourselves dodging some scaffolding in the lobby for the first few weeks of classes, but with this inconvenience comes a repaired roof and no leaks in Chapman Theatre!
KSTO is putting together KSTO buddies to welcome new students. Contact Gabby Browne if you’d like to be a part of this tradition. SEE POST HERE
Please take note of a few important dates to get into your calendars. We’ll post detailed audition info later next week.
