The University/Resident Theatre Association is the nation’s oldest and largest consortium of professional training programs in theatre. 40 universities and 15 theatres
belong to URTA. Through the National Unified Auditions and Interviews, they offer hundreds of positions in graduate training programs each year. Over a million dollars in first year allowances are granted to theatre artists who are qualified to bridge the gap between advanced student, young practitioner, and aspiring professional.
Candidates should consider that URTA MFA programs are designed for those who indicate a developing talent that will benefit from the completion of outstanding professional training.
Applications to the 2015 NUAIs must be submitted on line, or postmarked by TOMORROW Friday November 21st.
After tomorrow, all applications are subject to a $20 late fee, and will be accepted until 12/12/14 on a space-available basis. There is currently plenty of room for actors in all three cities, and for design/technicians in Chicago Please help us spread the word, so candidates can avoid the fee!
