If you missed the merchandise party- we gave away tumblers! Stop by Nichols 129 [THE WELLNESS SUITE] to get yours. When they run out, they run out. If we have any left after a couple of weeks, we will offer to minors and our partners in Music and Dance. [Brett Broadbent, Nich Elliott, Christine Pascoe- we saved yours. Did we miss other traveling students?]
Why did we do this? Because we care about you, your health, and the health of our planet. Instead of keeping the office stocked with plastic water bottles to encourage you to hydrate, we purchased tumblers for you to refill. Put your name on it, decorate it, make sure you know which one is yours! If you want to store it in Nichols 129, we have a cabinet for them and you may use the sink for washing. A bottle filler/water fountain is on order and will be in Nichols SOON!
You may have noticed there have been snacks and coffee available in 129, too. If you have some loose change, please drop it in the jar, it will help us keep it stocked, but you are not required to pay for these treats.
The faculty have priorities, in this order:
- YOUR HEALTH (hydration, nutrition, rest, exercise, mental wellness)
- YOUR FAMILY (however you define it- this includes your K-State Theatre family )
- YOUR EDUCATION
If the first two are not in balance, the third will be difficult to manage. Our focus is #3, your education. We need you to commit to taking care of #1 & #2!
