FOURTH Annual Theatre Excursion to Kansas City
Sept. 15-17, 2017
The K-State Theatre Student Development Fund is supporting the 2017 KC Theatre Excursion. Students selected for the trip will be provided transportation to and from Kansas City, hotel accommodations (4-6 students per suite hotel room), and theatre tickets to four different Theatre productions. All meals and any incidentals will be the responsibility of each student.
Eligibility requirements:
- undergraduate student with at least 75 earned credits (juniors & seniors; seniors get priority)
- must be an active Theatre major, 2.5 and up GPA
- will write a donor “thank you” letter after the trip

Students will be chosen based on eligibility and the content and clarity of the email application. Theatre majors are given first priority, but non-majors who are active in Theatre may also be considered. Students must act responsibly and be strong ambassadors for Kansas State University.

7:30pm Finian’s Rainbow (starring KSU alum Elise Poehling), Spinning Tree Theatre, Just Off Broadway Theatre, 3051 Central Drive, Kansas City, MO; post-show talkback

11:00am Visit Nelson-Atkins Museum or pre-show brunch

The K-State Theatre Student Development Fund was established by SANDY CHASTAN to be used for professional development for students in the last three semesters of their undergraduate degree experience. This fund supports travel related to research & creative activity (including but not limited to theatre tickets, flights, lodging and other travel expenses). These funds will be used without restriction to race, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation or disability.
