A student development trip to Los Angeles is being planned for March 12-17, 2015.
Eligibility to receive airfare, lodging and theatre tickets:
- undergraduate students with at least 75 earned credits (juniors & seniors), or students who graduated in Dec. 2014
- active in Theatre program (not necessarily a major)
- willing to write a donor “thank you” letter after the trip
If interested, please send an email to Jennifer Vellenga (vellenga@ksu.edu) describing your eligibility and why you should be selected to attend the trip. Please be thoughtful about how the trip will enhance your education and further your goals. Two sentences is not enough to be reflective, three pages is probably too much. Email due Jan. 20, 2015
4-6 students will be selected. Students are responsible for all meal expenses and incidentals (plan to budget $350). Airfare, shared hotel accommodations, and theatre tickets are being funded by a generous donor. Jerry Jay Cranford & Jennifer Vellenga are hosting the trip. Additional faculty might also join.
Selected students will be notified by email by Jan. 30, 2015.
