The annual TAP Workshops are coming up! On Wed. November 7th, high schools from all over state will come to attend student- & faculty-taught workshops to enhance their knowledge and interest in the different fields of theatre. They’ll also get a chance to see the final dress-rehearsal of “The Music Man”.
But we need students to help teach them! If you’re interested in teaching a workshop or helping in any way, please post in the comments below: Your name. Your email. And the name of the workshop you’d like to help with. (There’s also a sign-up sheet located on the TAP board across from the callboard in Nichols!)
Some of the workshops we have had in the past include Shakespeare, Acting, Jazz Dance, Sketch-Up for Designers, Scene Design, Costume Design, Marketing a Production, Marketing Yourself, Directing, Acting Warm-Ups, Stage Management, Auditioning, etc. We are not limited to these workshops- if you have an idea, put it out there! We will also need people for Theatre Tours and for set up and clean up, so don’t worry because there is a place for everyone to pitch in at TAP Workshop. We will appreciate all and any help!
*If you only want to do the Theatre Tours, please email Diana at diana291@k-state.edu
