I would like to announce a presentation of my work developed under the supervision of my mentor Prof. Sally Bailey. This is a training session/demo that will be presented about Disability Equality Training in Performing Arts for both Trainers/ Directors or Arts and Cultural Organizations/ Start-ups. This project works for inclusion regarding Disabilities.
Objectives: At the end of this program, the participants will learn the following skills:
Disability Awareness through the basics of disability history, the different kinds of disability and definitions
Concepts and Definition of Inclusion in the Arts
Stage Accessibility
Classroom, Rehearsals, Auditions Accommodations
Listening and communication skills to support inclusivity
Date: on Tuesday at May, 7th
Time: From 9:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Place: Drama Therapy Room, Room 117 in the West Memorial Stadium.
