October Showcase Signup!

It is that time of the month again team… time to sign up for showcase! October Showcase is next Wednesday, Oct. 14th, at 10:30 p.m. in the New Purple Masque Theatre.

Student Showcases are open to anyone who want to share their talents with fellow artists. Read a poem, share a monologue, perform a interpretive dance, write a rap; we want to see what you’ve got!

If you would like to share your talent, comment with your name and what you will be performing.

Immediately following showcase we will have MIDNIGHT MADNESS! This is a chance to workshop scenes you’ve written. You can participate in two ways: write a scene anonymously and drop it on the stage when you arrive at the masque or volunteer during showcase to act in the scenes your peers have written.

Some reminders:

1. Performances need to be under 5 minutes.

2. This is a first-come, first-serve sign up basis (unfortunately we only have time for the first 15 acts, so don’t wait to sign up!)

3. Sign ups will close next Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. (or when the 15th act signs up, which ever comes first).

3.  Midnight Madness scripts will be read by KSTO officers prior to performing, their discretion will determine whether or not the scene is appropriate.

4. Bring your friends, we love to see new faces!
