Nichols Open House starts at 3:30 with entertainment by the ROCKY cast, followed by words from Tim Steffensmeier in Comm Studies. Around 4pm, tours of Theatre’s new spaces will be given by current students.
We may have 10 visitors or 50…we aren’t sure, but the Dean’s office and the Provost’s office have been invited, so some administrators will definitely be here. Comm Studies (2nd floor) and CECD/ICDD (3rd floor) will have their own students giving tours of their floors too.
A little background, when Computer Science moved out, Theatre/Dance/Comm Studies/CECD/ICDD and Geology made a pitch to gain the space they vacated. The goal for us was to give faculty and students the opportunity to build community with offices and classrooms closer together
