Master Classes, Heather Farney

We’re fortunate to have some upcoming master classes with K-State Alumnus Heather Farney.

Heather Farney is a graduate of Kansas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in music theatre. She has worked in professional theaters as a singer, dancer, actress, and musician. Favorite credits include Singin’ in the Rain, Mary Poppins and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Heather currently lives in New York and recently completed a successful run of The Secret Garden with the Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, New York. She’s returning to K-State April 20-25 as choreographer for K-State Singers.

Heather will be giving master classes in Musical Theatre dance Wednesday, April 22, 11:30-12:45, and Thursday, April 23, 8:05-9:20. Both will be in Studio 008.

The Wednesday class will be more advanced, opposite Modern III. The Thursday class will be geared more for intermediate or beginner dancers. These classes are open to all K-State students.​ Please attend if you’re available and interested!
