LGBTQ+ and Allies Events (Conference, Drag Show and More!)

There are multiple events occurring over the next two weeks with K-State Intercultural Learning and the LGBT Resource Center!
 
Kansas State LGBTQ+ Leadership Conference, Little Apple Pride, K-State Drag Show, and Lavender Graduation! Allies are welcome and apprecitated! Some great learning opportunities and ways to show your support of our communities!
 
Friday April 22 is the Kansas State LGBTQ+ Leadership Conference. This event offers some great sessions and speakers and is free for all attendees. Held at the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center the day will run from 9:30 AM to 4 PM – stop in for a session or for the day! If you are not able to attend in person, there will be a live stream of the Opening, Keynote, and Closing sessions.  Information for the conference can be found below!

Little Apple Pride will be held on April 23rd at City Park. Parade, entertainment, and a great time! More information at the link below!

K-State Drag Show is back! Friday April 29th join us at McCain Auditorium for our back in person event! Tickets will be available on 4/27 through the McCain box office, in person, or by phone. Information below!

And of course let’s celebrate our graduates on Sunday, May 1st at the K-State Lavender Graduation! This is a community event but registration is important. Hors d’oeurves at 2 PM, Guest Speaker Dr. Kathleen Hatch, recognition of our LGBTQ Scholarship recipients, Distinguished Alumnus, Distinguished Faculty and Staff, and of course our recognition of Undergraduate and Graduate students! All graduates from 2020, 2021, and 2022 are welcome to join us and be recognized! Please visit the link below to register.
