Auditions for the summer set of KSTO Virtual Readings take place at 7:00-9:00 pm TONIGHT!!! (July 11th) Come and audition for our next set of readings that include the shows NEW GIRL, THE REVOLUTIONISTS, and LISTENERS. All are welcome and no prior experience is necessary!
All of the information you will need for auditions can be found below. Please carefully read through and fill everything out!

2. For our audition process, we will have you all fill out an online audition form via this link to provide us information on availability and interest for these productions: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QZFFLDD

4. What to expect. . . Whenever you arrive in the Zoom meeting, it will automatically place you in the waiting room, I will be letting in each one of you into the meeting individually at your scheduled audition time to perform for us. Some slides have multiple characters. You can audition with a friend or one of the other directors can read with you! Once you are finished you can exit the meeting and you will be informed of your role(s) within the next 24 hours. (Do your best and don’t be nervous. It’s a pretty a laid back audition!)

July 5th – July 11th: The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson– Directed by Emma Price
Synopsis: THE REVOLUTIONISTS is a brutal comedic quartet about four beautiful, badass, and very real women who lived boldly in France during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror (1793-1794). Playwright Olympe De Gouge, assassin Charlotte Corday, and former queen (and fan of ribbons) Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle hang out, murder Marat, loose their heads, and try to beat back the extremist insanity in revolutionary Paris. This grand and dream-tweaked comedy is about violence and legacy, feminism and terrorism, art and how we actually go about changing the world.
It a true story.

Or a raucous resurrection that ends in a song and a scaffold.

July 12th – July 18th: New Girl: Episodes 1-3 – Directed by Kaitlyn Burns
Synopsis: After a bad break-up, Jess, an offbeat young woman, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her – most of the time.

July 26th – August 1st: Listeners by Jane Martin– Directed by Logan Peralez
Synopsis: Eleanor Leftwich is your basic run of the mill law abiding citizen, but the government has identified her as a person who just might be hold a few grudges. Soon enough, her assigned Listeners arrive and offer her a chance to speak with the big man in charge, to which she speaks uncensored…for the last time. Listeners takes a dark comedic look into today’s day and age of information and technologically domestic monitoring.
