If you are interested in finding out more about drama therapy, the Central Region Drama Therapy Conference is coming to K-State for the first time this coming weekend. This Saturday, April 16 and Sunday morning, April 17 drama therapists from all over the middle of the country will be converging on the West Stadium to present to each other about the work they have been doing with performance in drama therapy. Student cost for the conference is $50. Registration will begin at 8:30 in the hallway on the way to the Drama Therapy Room (West Stadium 117). Sessions on Saturday will be held in the morning and afternoon, ending with the Barrier-Free Theatre performance that evening and Sunday morning from 9-12.
This is a great way to get a taste test of what drama therapy is all about.
