K-State Theatre alum and current Creighton University/Metro College Faculty member Darrick Silkman was recently featured in the award-winning short film “Bobby Haden Church: Brother Number 2.” The short took home the prize for “Best Mockumentary” at the Lady Filmmakers Festival in Beverly Hills, CA. Darrick was also nominated for Best Actor. The film concerns the fictional brother of famed actor Thomas Haden Church attempting to forge an acting career from middle America without the help of his famous sibling.
