Job Opportunity: Paid Summer Interns for Shakespeare Camp
KSU Theatre is seeking 2 (possibly 3) motivated and enthusiastic interns to assist with its Shakespeare Summer Camp from June 26-30. The camp will be led by David, who will be working with approximately 20 high school students as they study and prepare for a redux production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM. The internship will offer a unique opportunity to work with David and the students, while also participating in various extracurricular activities and study sessions on Campus and around Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Assist David with directing and organizing the Shakespeare Camp
- Assist students in their understanding and preparation of the play
- Help manage logistics and support the students throughout the week-long camp
- Participate in extracurricular activities and study sessions
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Passion for Shakespeare and theater. No Shakespeare knowledge required
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Comfortable working with teenagers
