The Dept. of Modern Languages will be hosting a French language film festival featuring six films from across the Francophone world from March 24-April 3, 2022. All films are free, open to the public, and will be shown in Burt Hall Room 114 from 6-8 pm. The festival is sponsored by the Dept. of Modern Languages, the FACE Foundation (French-American Cultural Exchange), and Albertine Cinémathèque. Albertine Cinémathèque is a program of FACE Foundation and Villa Albertine in partnership with the French Embassy in the United States and with the support of the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée) and the Fonds Culturel Franco-Américain. This festival was made possible by the Albertine Cinémathèque Festival grant provided by FACE to Dr. Kathleen Antonioli, associate professor of French. You can read more about the films here. Join us for this exploration of contemporary Francophone cinema!
