Are you the first in your family to attend college? If so, the following information is for you!
Many campuses across the nation will be celebrating First Generation Students on Wednesday, November 8. We will have our celebration at the Student Union by watching the film “A Walk in My Shoes,” produced by K-State’s College of Education. We will show the film twice to accommodate students’ class schedules. The first showing will be at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second showing will be from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm., Union Courtyard.
In addition, the First Generation Student Organization, first place winners in the 2017 Homecoming spirit sign contest, will have an information table. They will also have buttons and stickers to give away.
All K-State students are welcome!
