The fall General Audition (Open/Cattle Call) on Tuesday night, Aug. 21, 2018 is Mandatory for Theatre Majors with an Acting/Directing emphasis and anyone interested in performing in the fall 2018. Design/tech/management students are not required to audition.
We are casting Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! directed by Jerry Jay Cranford, Straight White Men by Young Jean Lee, directed by Sterling Oliver, and a stage reading of Belleville by Amy Herzog, directed by Teva Spencer.
Iphigenia and Other Daughters by Ellen McLaughlin, directed by Jennifer Vellenga and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, by Simon Stephens, directed by Emily Trube, have been cast.
Tuesday, August 21 from 7-10:30pm General Audition, Chapman Theatre in Nichols Hall.
Please prepare one contemporary monologue, one-to-two minutes in length. Non-majors: if you don’t have a monologue, there will be material available for you to read for the audition panel. Some walk-ins available, but we prefer to have you

All Acting faculty will be in attendance, in addition to the show directors. paperwork must be completed in advance, BRING YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE. CALLBACKS WILL BE SELECTED FROM THIS AUDITION and will be held on Wednesday and/or Thursday, as needed.
