The A&S Diversity Committee is also putting together a student conversation group called Voices of Discovery. Please feel free to promote this.
We are looking for 10-16 students interested in discovering, sharing, and learning about their own and others biases and thoughts on diversity topics through an interactive group discussion. Catherine Gwin provided a template that is being used by a few universities to bring awareness to students on diversity focused topics. Students selected will attend a 7-week discussion group that will meet with facilitators for 1.5 hours each week.
Students participating will be part of a panel at the Student Summit on Friday April 1, 2016.
