We invite your participation in a special ‘Emerging Ideas Roundtable’.
The Roundtable will be held at the “Children, Youth, and Performance Conference”, at the Young People’s Theatre in Toronto on June 24th, 2018. This international conference brings researchers, practitioners, educators together to discuss new research and practices relevant to children, youth, performance, and the performing arts. All participants will have the opportunity to attend in workshops, panels, presentations, and original performance pieces. We have already received workshop proposals from seasoned researchers and practitioners in the field, but will use this roundtable to open the conference up to emerging work, and new scholars who may have work-in-progress or budding ideas.
The ‘Emerging Ideas Roundtable’ is a component of the conference geared to those who are in conceptual or early stages of research, in the process of creating an artistic project, and/or developing new pedagogical methods they would like to discuss. It’s a great space to work through ideas and network. Participants of this Roundtable will be listed in the program, and can include it as a conference presentation on their academic CVs or résumés. Participants may present in more than one panel/presentation at the conference.
Registration for the entire conference is discounted to $40 CAD for students, while regular admission is $70.
