  • The Story: TIGERS BE STILL is comedy that follows the misadventures of Sherry, a recently graduated art therapist. Amidst her struggles with a dormant tiger and a family in disarray, Sherry navigates life’s challenges with humor and resilience, finding unexpected connections along the way.

Character Breakdown and Disclosures:

  • Sherry (F, 24) – Sherry just completed a master’s degree in art therapy but was unemployed and feeling lost, so she moved back home with her mom. She lands her first job as an art teacher and her first client. Sherry is ready to make a life for herself and is very excited to have her first real job and really does not want to mess it up.
  • Grace (F, 29) – Sherry’s older sister who just got broken up with by the man she thought she would marry so she moved back home. She seeks revenge by stealing all of her ex’s stuff (including his dogs) and watching Top Gun on the living room couch. She desperately wants both her and Sherry to get laid.
  • Joseph (M, 50) – Joseph is Zack’s dad, the principal of the high school and Sherry’s new boss. He hires Sherry as a favor to her mother, Wanda, who was his high school sweetheart. Joseph is very concerned with the tiger on the loose and with his son getting a job. He just wants what’s best for everyone and keeping them safe.
  • Zack (M, 19) – Zack is Joseph’s son and he is taking a gap year between high school and college. He is also Sherry’s first client, although he didn’t agree to that. He has anger issues, which makes it hard for him to keep a job, so he agrees to be Sherry’s client in exchange for having a job as her art class assistant, to make his dad happy.
