Accord Hospice is producing a play entitled Vesta, the story of a 75 year old woman who has a stroke in her opening monologue. The rest of the performance is an engaging look at how her life plays out over the next five years. Vesta attempts to manage the strained relationship with her daughter, loses her independence, navigates Medicaid, runs away from a nursing home, builds a bond with her granddaughter, and much more. This play is touching, includes humor, and explores concepts that truly hit home for many people.
