**If you are only auditioning for Into the Woods, you only need to attend the Thursday audition, unless you are a Theatre major** ALL THEATRE MAJORS (except design, tech, management students) MUST AUDITION ON TUESDAY NIGHT’S GENERAL AUDITION, even if you don’t want to be cast. Part of your actor training is practicing your audition skills.
Auditions for ITW will all be held on Thursday evening from 6-8pm with callbacks following immediately. Please limit yourself to your best 16 bars (professional standard) as time is limited. If needed, you will be asked to return after your audition for the callbacks. Don’t be alarmed if you are not asked to return as you could still be cast (NOT “casted”) in the show.
An accompanist will be provided so please bring sheet music in your key. No acapella auditions.
First rehearsal will be Sept 18th with rehearsals occurring Sunday-Thursday 6:30-9:30pm. Tech will be the weekend of October 27, 28 and 29 and there will be a matinee for HS students on Nov. 1 and two matinees, Sunday Nov. 5 and Sunday Nov. 12. Please check your schedule before auditioning. Thank you.
