ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

Set in present day, or the not too distant future, this production of As You Like it will be created through the lens of the 2011 Occupy movement.

The Court world of Duke Frederick is ruled by the elite 1% class. A world made up of corporations, strict social constraints and surveillance cameras to make sure the laws are upheld.

The Forest of Arden world of Duke Senior is ruled by the 99%. Those who’ve decided to live off the grid and go back to the land. They live in tents and are mixed bag of computer hackers, hipsters and the farmers who were originally on the land.
