Manhattan Arts Center is hiring show staff for our MACademy Youth Theatre production of “Transyl-Mania” – a monsters meet humans play – that rehearses 8 weeks this fall and ends with two shows.
Rehearsals are Tue/Wed/Thu 4:30-6, Sep 14-Nov 4. Performances are Nov 5 & 6. Grades are K-9 but we’ve limited K-1 grades to 8 students total. In spring we’re doing the musical “Madagascar Jr” that will require a music director and some choreography, if that’s appealing to anyone.
Pay rate will be $12 per hour and these shows usually require about 45-60 hours total over the eight weeks (including the two performances). We can usually work around schedules if someone has a class during one of the rehearsal days.
