Let’s change the culture about the performing arts at K-State and get the student body to #SEETHEATRE! WE NEED YOU to like and share and re-post whenever there’s a show going on. Talk up our shows in your classrooms and organizations. Actors love to play to a sold out crowd and we all play a part in sharing our culture.
There are 22,000 K-State students and a quarter of them are NEW and don’t know our culture yet. Let’s tell them that K-Staters #SEETHEATRE!
- A sell out of 500 total seats for a second stage run in the Purple Masque is 2% of the student body; each major could inspire 5 people to attend
- A sell out of 1680 total seats for a main stage run in Chapman Theatre is 7% of the student body; each major could inspire 17 people to attend
- A sell out of 7200 seats for a main stage run in McCain Auditorium is 32% of the student body, but it’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL this year, so duh!! Get students out to SEE THEATRE- FOR THE COST OF A MOVIE…OR LESS.
